Guys.

Alright people, we have established that Chanel is going to kill me for not posting. I do have a reason though. When I originally had the story planned out, Emily Smith was all alone with her flock.

But when I started writing it, I realized that it wasn't a good idea to just start out in the middle of all the action. Well, I could've, and kept you guys guessing what happened before, but after reviewing that course of action, I realized that I wanted the focus to be on what was happening in the story, not what had happened already.

So my point is, I wrote the intro to her situation with no plan in mind, really. I would still ideally like to keep her without her parents, because they get in the way of the plot, but I think that what I have in place just isn't feasible. (I hope I spelled that correctly.)

So, in exchange for not killing me (cough CHANEL cough) I'm posting this to let you people know what's going on.

I'm rewriting the story. The basic idea is still there, but Emily's family dynamic just doesn't make sense. And it's depressing. So...I'm rewriting it. As it is for now, I'm keeping it posted, but I'm deleting it after I get the new story up. I think Chapter 2 can stay, but I'll probably tweak it.

Sorry guys, but it's for the best. And if you don't like that, well then, deal with this for reasoning:
I'm worse than evil, I'm what they call the author.

Mua ha ha ha! Stay cool, kill our short little evil blonde friend (Matt), and see you soon!

Letters to Jacob~Chapter 2

Hello everyone. This is your local neighborhood authoress telling Chanel to let me live!

Awesome...I wish a totally hot guy would walk down the street with chocolate and roses and ask me to marry him.

...

Okay, fine, Luck, be that way.

I walked back into my apartment and slipped Lonnie a note telling him I'd pay rent tomorrow, it was payday tomorrow (=]).

Okay, so to the letter.

Dear Emily,
Hi. I would have talked to you, but then I might've gotten really upset, and Sam would have killed me if...Well, I think you know.

You're a girl and in a successful relationship, so I was wondering if you could give me some advice on the Bella situation. She loves me, but she doesn't know it, she's only dating Edward because he's fooling her!

What can I do?
-Jacob

Hm...he sounds pretty depressed. What should I say to that? Oh, sh*t look at the time! I got to run to work!

Letters to Jacob~Chapter 1

Okay guys, this is my Twilight fic. This is totally fictional, and I only own Twilight in my dreams. Emily, however, is MINE! Rawr.

I sifted through my mail. I sighed, it was always the same. Didn't anyone just wright to say hi anymore?

Well, I suppose it could be worse, right? Okay, let me fill you in: My name's Emily and my mom left me after my stepdad died. At first there was just a lot of crying, which I really didn't get. I never knew my dad, so I don't miss him, but I still have no idea why my mom picked Charles. He'd beat my mom, then try to beat me. My mom would try (keyword try) to stop him, and he'd hit me anyway. Then he'd hit her more. It was a nice effort, but after a while, just let him hit me already! It's not a big deal.

I work at the local grocery store with my friend/supervisor Jenny. Jen was a good-hearted soul, not snobby at all, and she was only a year older than me at 16, so it would be really weird to call her "ma'am". I'm also the only one in the store who knows where everything is, and can tell you what a parsnip is (It's a kind of weird white-brown-carrot-looking thing). I'm writing this down beause when you live alone for a while, you start to think out loud. Then people think you're crazy talking to yourself, and it all goes downhill from there. Trust me, not fun.

So, anyway, is it that hard to send a post card? *Sigh*. Food bill (Yay employee discount! If it wasn't for that, I'd be living off cereal. Heck, I still kind of live off cereal. And leafy green stuff.)... Rent... 2nd notice rent... threatining note stuffed in by Lonnie (the guy I pay rent to) threatining to end our agreement if I don't pay my rent like, now...

Basically, this is the agreement: I pay the rent, he ignores the fact that I'm an underaged minor. I play piano sometimes, and disturbs the neighbors, and said neighbors and him come to be grumpy in my house. Mostly they pretend, just so they can hear me without the obstruction of the walls. They're really thin (I am SO glad I don't live near newly weds!). Usually I sweep the hallways too, so Lonnie doesn't have to hire a cleaning lady. That usually gives me a discount on my rent, and a little wiggle room. Sure, it's only like 20 bucks, but I still have to go to school and go to work. I'm only paid a little better than minimum wage, so I basically live from paycheck to paycheck. I have a little saved up for emergancies, though. I'm getting my paycheck tomorrow, and then I can pay Lonnie. Okay, so the mail inventory is: Rent stuff... Magazine... Advertisement... Letter... wait, what?!

It was from some guy named Jacob Black.
What did you think? Sorry it was so depressing, but there's a reason for it, trust me.
